The big picture
A few priced crates taught a program five things.
| Idea | Remember |
|---|---|
| The closest one | The nearest priced crate gives the guess. |
| The whole board | Every square copies its nearest crate. A tie gets no price. Move a crate and the map changes. |
| No labels at all | Closeness can make groups with no prices. The groups are not prices. |
| Test on new crates | Keep crates back. Accuracy is right answers out of all answers. |
| One-sided examples | Examples from one place teach one place. Add the missing places. |
Learning from examples with answers is supervised. Learning with no answers is unsupervised.
Every guess a program makes comes from its examples. Change the examples and the guesses change.
