Intro Programming with Blocks

Finding the one wrong block

A sprite stops two squares from the flag. Which block sent it the wrong way?

A program with five blocks — one is wrong.
Step 1 of 4
  1. A program with five blocks — one is wrong.
  2. Run it, and watch where it actually goes.
  3. Block 3, Turn right, is the wrong one.
  4. Remove it, and add Turn left instead.

The wrong block first sends the sprite the wrong way.

A program does exactly what its blocks say.

A mistake in a program is a bug. Debugging means finding and fixing it. Run the program. Find the step where the sprite first goes wrong. Then look at that block.

Tap the wrong block to fix it.
