A narrow list stays narrow

- The cousin likes 4 kinds. The list has places for 2.
- Tap the top kind 20 more times. Still 2 of 4.
- Tap tabla and cycle repairs 3 times each. Now 4 of 4.
The rule
A tally is lopsided when taps go to only a few kinds. To widen a list is to add more kinds to it.
A list built from a lopsided tally stays lopsided. More of the top kind does not widen it. Taps on other kinds can.
Count what the list leaves out, not what it holds. The cousin never sees tabla, so never taps it. A platform is the app or site that makes the list. A platform can add places for other kinds on purpose. You can look for other things on purpose too.
