You may know two rules already. Every lesson here uses them.

  • Keep some facts offline. Once sent, they can be copied. Offline means not on the internet.
  • If something feels wrong, tell a grown-up you trust. Right away.
This track's seven ideas, in order.

This is Digital Safety & Citizenship II. Digital citizenship means using technology in a safe, responsible and respectful way.

Seven ideas, one track

  1. The trail that builds up — what you post and what is kept.
  2. Pictures get changed — a photo can be changed after it is made.
  3. Checking, not looking — a check helps. Staring may not.
  4. Aimed at a person — hurting someone online on purpose.
  5. Noticing how it feels — an evening has a fixed number of minutes.
  6. Rights and duties — every right online has a duty beside it.
  7. A fake account — an account that pretends to be someone.

Every lesson gives the same advice. Ask a grown-up you trust.
