A program is a list of steps written down in order.
A program runs its steps in order.
The robot starts facing up. Move 1 means go 1 square the way the robot faces. Try both orders:
| Program | Robot ends |
|---|---|
| Turn right, then move 1 | 1 square right |
| Move 1, then turn right | 1 square above |
Turn first, and the robot faces right. Then it moves 1 square right.
Move first, and the robot goes up 1 square. Then it turns right.
Same two steps. Different order. Different end.
