| Better tools | A finer grid can split what looked like one thing. |
| A model | It works only where it fits. |
| Checking each other | Compare the gap with the jump. |
| Still going | Test where two ideas expect different things. |
| Questions | One answer can fit many questions. Asking a good question is part of science. A tested idea can still raise new questions. |
| Care | People's choices change nature. Using less and wasting less helps the future. Science can show which choices help. |
