The rule

Often someone else drew the graph. You need to read the graph.

Find the bars the question names. Then compare them, to see which is more. Or add them.

An empty chart. The scale runs 0 to 20.
Step 1 of 6
  1. An empty chart. The scale runs 0 to 20.
  2. Cricket: 18 votes.
  3. Kabaddi: 10 votes.
  4. Badminton: 14 votes.
  5. Football: 8 votes.
  6. Cricket has the longest bar. It has the most votes.

Example

How many more chose cricket than kabaddi? Cricket has 18 votes and kabaddi has 10. Subtract: 18 − 10 = 8 votes.

Badminton and football together: 14 + 8 = 22 votes.

All four bars added: 18 + 10 + 14 + 8 = 50 votes.

In the lab, tap the bars the question names. Each tapped bar shows its number.

Try the lab to finish this lesson.
