Lesson 1 of 8
Blocks you snap together
Show on a big screenTap the block that says Move forward. The sprite, the small character on the grid, moves one square.
Step 1 of 4
- One "Move forward" block sits alone.
- A second "Move forward" snaps below it.
- A "Turn left" block snaps on last.
- The sprite runs all three, in that order.
A block is one instruction. Blocks run in order.
Move forward, Turn left and Turn right are blocks. Snap them together, one below another, to make a program. The sprite runs the top block first. A turn block turns the sprite on its square. The sprite starts facing right.
Tap blocks to send the sprite to the flag, the goal square.
