A sprite is the small character you move. It waits in one corner of a grid. It moves only when you give it blocks.

This track's five ideas, in order.

What this track covers

  • Snap blocks together — one block after another makes a program.
  • Order matters — the same blocks in a new order can end elsewhere.
  • Repeat — one block can replace many copies.
  • If — the sprite checks the grid, then chooses.
  • Debugging — find the one wrong block.

You type no code here. CBSE's Class 6 block coding also covers algorithms, conditionals and loops. Conditionals are if blocks. Loops are repeat blocks.
