- Half of Earth faces the Sun. It is day there. The other half is night.
- Earth turns west to east.
- A place in the east reaches the light first.
- So the east sees sunrise first.
Half of Earth faces the Sun, so it is day there. Places in the east see sunrise first.
So India can have day while Brazil has night.
So noon comes earlier in the east than in the west.
Sunset also comes earlier in the east.
