A shop sign has big letters. The letter A folds along an up-down line through its middle. The letter B does not.

Four groups of letters

Try a line up and down through a capital letter's middle. Then try a line across.

A, M: up-down only. B, E: across only. H, X: both. F, N: neither.

A jaali is a stone screen with a repeating pattern. Many jaali designs have fold lines.

A mango leaf has a thick middle line, the rib. Its two sides look alike. The match is close, but not exact.
